Bachus Spends Billions on Global Poverty Act

December 5th, 2009

Spencer Bachus introduced Barak Obama’s “Global Poverty Act” to the U.S. House that would require the United States to pay $845 Billion of tax payer money to the United Nations in support of global poverty.

This was House Bill #HR1302. Obama’s Global Poverty Act passed the House and if it passes the Senate it will cost you - the tax payer almost 1 Trillion Dollars!

Spencer Bachus admitted that he introduced and voted for the bill in a letter to a voter in the 6th Congressional District and that he was proud to do so. He said that spending this money would enhance the image of the United States in the world and help fight terrorism.

This $845 Billion Dollar program will be added to the $16 Billion Dollar-A-Year program for global poverty already being funded by the USA.
Spencer Bachus voted for that $16 Billion Dollar expense as well.

We Just Cannot Afford Another Two Years Of Spencer Bachus!
